This is the recipe I think I’ve been waiting for since being vegan for decades now. I’ve only ever seen bulging I veganized once and it was just this last week so…. Thank you. Also our local tofu ,asker retired with no family to take over so now I’m learning to Kate our own tofu too and that’s a little time consuming. Lol
Thanks for this video, made a great alternative to our usual tofu dishes. We couldn't get the colour with the ingredients we had, and we're a bit skeptical half way, but the flavour was very nice in the end. We even made it again the next day but added tomato and herby stuff to have it with pasta 🙂 it's a winner. Really appreciate your videos!!
Hi Wil, This looks great! Can you recommend some other oil or paste instead of the chili oil? I'd love to make this but wanna be careful not to make it too spicy – I prefer to use chili flakes so I have more control over how hot the sauce will be.
I made this this recipe for dinner yesterday, my non vegan friends who had never had tofu before were amazed and deligthed, I wanted them to have an unforgetable first impression of tofu, thanks to your perfect recipe, they are in love with it now, and expecting next dinner with their vegan friend! This looks delicious! I love that you used tofu as opposed to a vegan beef product. Nothing wrong with those but I have tofu on hand a lot more and am trying to eat more whole foods. Can't wait to make this 😀

Mix of delicious Flavours ( Including that Yummy Oil that you designed your self & you are so proud of) as meaty . There is No Meat at all in. This aMeal. . Refer to the texture a that lovely firm Tofu flavoured first with Onions & Garlic & then with the Lovely Sauce & finally with that Lovely Oil That I am so proud of I will Probably make this lovely meal as all of your Recipes are so Delicious . I will need to put some time between what you said it was like & me actually making it. As a Vegan. I do not know what it is like to eat. Non plant Food. Only Plant Food for me. If I put some of your Lovely Recipe into my mouth , I would not be able to swallow it. The thought of what you said would not be nice. . I think that as a vegan we should not use that word when we ara lot of people. e trying to describe something that is Plant Based. I know what the word means but as I have never tasted it m I think it could’ve very off putting for a lot of people . You are such a nice person& You are a Real Gentleman. I think. The spices you use are a matter of taste. & here in Ireland &. The age my Husband & I are , we would not have grown up knowing much or nothing about spices. I use a small amount of Curry powder. I use some spices that are not hot. . I adjust these to suit out taste . InLove the Short Tutorials you give us regarding How to Choose the chopping Knife to suit us. .I love Your Wonderful Background Music. . I love the minimum instructions you give while cooking. Hey Will. I've been watching your videos for a while now and I absolutely love them. Your passion for food really really shows. One thing I've found is that the cadence of your voice when narrating is rather stilted and robotic, which is nothing like your live segments!
I've got one suggestion, if you'd like it – I suggest narrating the video in longer takes, so the rhythm of your voice sounds more natural. This is in opposition to your current method, which is short audio-bites for each video clip.
