- 2 cups beef tallow
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (thyme or rosemary), finely chopped
- Optional: 1 tablespoon of your favorite spice blend
Instructions
- Gently heat 2 cups of beef tallow in a medium pot over low heat until melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in garlic powder, salt, cracked black pepper, and fresh herbs.
- Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, whip the mixture on high speed for 3-5 minutes until fluffy.
- Transfer the whipped beef tallow to a serving bowl and enjoy!
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
- Can be frozen for longer storage; thaw when needed.
- Great as a spread on bread or as a cooking fat for meats and vegetables.
