Almost a year late watching this video, but I still learned a few great tips! I'm going to make that bean spread (I´ll try it with adzuki beans, see how it turns out!) and hey, i didn't know that pumpkin seeds were so high in protein and iron… Thanks for sharing! 😀
I'm not a vegan but I've been trying your meal ideas and dude I love it! Half my meals per day are plant based like the chia pudding that I've been eating at breakfast almost everyday, it's delicious! I'll definitely try the bread with that beans "butter", incredibly tasty look.
You are totally a real life Clark Kent!! This is the first video of yours I have ever seen, so is Catherine (I hope I got her name correct) your girlfriend? Wife? Is that your baby with her? After watching this video, I may subscribe because you had so many good, new recipes I haven’t seen before. You two are so inspirational and real.
Oh yes! Years ago – my favourite ice cream was enjoyed w lots of salted peanuts. And an even more unhealthy sauce than the one you guys had – the Smil caramel sauce! And no – the ice cream was not vegan, but since then I've had several good vegan ice creams – coconut milk vanilla ice cream w burned almonds is a favourite. And of course – banana ice cream 😊
Vegans, They don't sell soybeans here only mostly mung beans. Would've preferred the former since the latter has lesser protein. I also fear, if they do sell soybeans, couldn't tell whether GMO or not. I wanted to eat fewer meat, and more plants. Tried it for months but found unattainable if I wanted to build big muscles. I have to eat large amounts of beans, there's little room left for other food before I get full. I always get full when I eat beans that's why I add meat instead. It's impractical to keep eating beans many many times. I prefer to eat whole food than drink protein powder. Say, if I only want to consume 90 grams of protein per day, mung beans has about around 16g per cup. I have to eat 2 cups per meal. 6cups per day. Too many for me, there's little room left for other food. Other food has protein as well, but not as much so I normally don't count them in except for nuts/seeds w/c I can't consume in excess beyond a few servings.
Do I need to drink protein powder, and not rely on whole plant food alone if I want to get that big?
Can calories in beans be used by our body efficiently? a cup of mung beans contain about 210 calories , but if I replace grains with it as my caloric source I seem to be losing weight( w/c i don't plan on doing )instead of gaining.
Jon is lookin like a snack with those specs
Wow😍
LOL. Catherine will keep your good and honest, brother! I like her. She keeps it real.
the water in the smoothie looks a lot like banana…..
amazing
Doesnt a banana split sundae have peanuts on it as a topping? I'd say that is pretty normal

No offense, but since you both are vegan, is your baby going to be human or brocolli?
Does your wife use this protein pregnant
Jon, did I just hear you say: «Den enden som skal ned der?» When did you learn Norwegian?

My parents adopted peanuts on ice cream when they lived in norway, and we also put m&m’s on top. We call it norwegian ice dessert.
