  • 1 cup (220 g) packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups (375 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups (340 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat softened butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until creamy.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing well.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden around the edges.
  8. Allow to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
