- 2 cups cooked macaroni pasta
- 1 lb cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix cooked pasta, shredded chicken, BBQ sauce, heavy cream, and milk in a large bowl.
- Add shredded cheeses and stir until well combined.
- Pour mixture into a greased baking dish.
- In a small pan, melt butter and toast bread crumbs until golden, then sprinkle over the top of the casserole.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- You can use rotisserie chicken for quick prep.
- Adjust BBQ sauce for preferred smokiness and sweetness.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
