    All that work and he forgot to remove the seeds! Both the skin and seed of the tomato native to Mexico contain lectins which are lightly poisonous. This is the same reason we soak beans. South Indians do not even consume beans traditionally and chose lentils instead because they have no lectins and require no soaking.

    That looks amazing. I doubt it would need to last more than 1-2 weeks for most people unless they had a farm and wanted to store it; that is- most households could skip the citric acid.
