Ingredients
- 3 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
- 4 cups of water
- 2 black or green tea bags
- 2β3 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (to taste)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by boiling 4 cups of water. Once boiling, steep the tea bags for 5-7 minutes, then remove and allow to cool. This forms the base of your homemade Refreshing Peach Tea.
- While the tea is cooling, blend the peeled and sliced peaches until smooth. You can add a little water or honey if needed to help blend smoothly. This sweet, fruity puree will enhance the flavor of your Cool & Refreshing Homemade Peach Tea.
- In a large pitcher, mix the cooled tea and peach puree. Stir in honey or agave syrup for sweetness and add lemon juice to brighten the flavors. Taste and adjust the sweetness as desired.
- Add plenty of ice to the pitcher, then stir well. Serve your Homemade Peach Tea over additional ice, garnished with fresh mint leaves if you like. For a bubbly twist, consider adding some sparkling water before serving.
