Ingredients
Scale
- 4 ripe peaches (or fresh or canned peaches)
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4โ5 lemons)
- 1/2 cup honey or simple syrup (adjust sweetness to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
- Peach slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Start by washing the peaches thoroughly. Cut the peaches into small chunks, removing the pits. If you prefer a smoother texture, you can blend the peaches directly into the lemonade.
- Add the peach chunks to a blender and puree until smooth. If you want a chunkier texture, pulse the peaches a few times. You can strain the puree through a fine sieve if you prefer a silkier drink.
- Juice the lemons until you have about 1 cup of fresh lemon juice. For a more intense lemon flavor, add more lemon juice or zest the lemons into the mixture.
- In a large pitcher, combine the peach puree, lemon juice, honey or simple syrup, and cold water. Stir well until the sweetener dissolves completely. Adjust sweetness by adding more honey if desired.
- Add plenty of ice cubes to the pitcher, then garnish with fresh mint leaves and peach slices for a beautiful presentation. Pour into glasses and enjoy your refreshing peach drink!
Notes
- For best results, use ripe peaches to maximize flavor.
- You can substitute honey with other sweeteners like agave syrup, maple syrup, or sugar; dissolve them in warm water before mixing.
- Make ahead by preparing the mixture and refrigerating; add ice and garnishes right before serving for freshness.
- For an extra chilled beverage, use a rapid-chill drink maker like Ninja SLUSHi Pro RapidChill.
