Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional, for added flavor)
- Pinch of black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Peel and cut sweet potatoes into fry shapes, 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
- In a large bowl, drizzle sweet potato fries with olive oil, add salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper, then toss to coat evenly.
- Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra crispy fries, soak sweet potato fries in cold water for 30 minutes before seasoning.
- Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet to prevent steaming.
- Using an air fryer can achieve even crispier results, cook at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes.
