Instructions
- Gather and peel the ripe lady finger bananas, preparing them for mashing in a mixing bowl.
- Mash the bananas until smooth, then add sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt. Gradually incorporate the flour, mixing until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a lined baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the dessert in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Slice into squares and serve, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
