Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Whisk until blended.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry mixture until just combined.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days.
- To freeze, wrap slices in plastic wrap and place in a freezer-safe bag.
- For added sweetness, consider adding chocolate chips or blueberries.
