- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1/2 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 gluten-free burger buns
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 tomato, sliced
- Lettuce leaves
- Cheese slices (optional)
- Condiments of your choice (ketchup, mustard, etc.)
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients for the gluten-free burger.
- In a large bowl, mix together ground beef or turkey, gluten-free breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Shape into four patties.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat with a little oil. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Assemble the burger by placing a patty on the bottom half of the gluten-free bun, followed by cheese, avocado, tomato, lettuce, and condiments. Top it with the other half of the bun.
Notes
- Store leftover burger patties separately in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Pair with sweet potato fries or fresh side salad for a complete meal.
