Ingredients
- 4 ripe peaches, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream or whipped topping
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs or cookie crumble
- Optional: fresh mint leaves, chopped nuts, or coconut flakes for garnish
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to whip until stiff peaks develop.
- In serving glasses or a large dish, layer graham cracker crumbs at the bottom. Add a layer of sliced peaches, followed by a generous layer of whipped cream mixture. Repeat until the dish is filled, finishing with whipped cream and peach slices on top.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld and layers to set. Serve chilled.
Notes
- For a dairy-free version, substitute coconut whipped cream and gluten-free cookies.
- Ensure peaches are drained well if using canned peaches to prevent sogginess.
- This dessert can be assembled a few hours in advance for best flavor; just top with fresh toppings before serving.
