  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450 g) beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz (225 g) egg noodles or your preferred pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Optional: grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Start by seasoning the sliced beef with a little salt and pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef slices and cook until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the remaining oil. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the noodles in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Pour the beef broth into the skillet, scraping any browned bits off the bottom. Stir in soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer, then add the heavy cream. Stir well and let the sauce thicken slightly, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked noodles and browned beef back into the skillet. Toss everything together until evenly coated in the creamy sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed. For an extra cheesy touch, sprinkle with grated Parmesan before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in a skillet over low heat or in the microwave, adding a splash of beef broth or cream if needed for sauce consistency.
  • For a dairy-free version, substitute heavy cream with coconut milk or dairy-free alternatives, and use olive oil instead of butter.
  • Customize spice levels by adding red pepper flakes or hot sauce for extra heat.
