  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet (2 ¼ teaspoons) active dry yeast
  • ¾ cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup diced colorful vegetables (bell peppers, olives, onions, etc.)
  • Optional toppings (pepperoni, sausage, basil, etc.)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for about 5 minutes until bubbly.
  2. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour. Knead until smooth, cover and let it rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
  3. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangular shape for your puzzle pizza base.
  4. Prepare your toppings by dicing colorful vegetables and arranging meats and cheeses in small bowls.
  5. Spread pizza sauce evenly on the rolled-out dough, sprinkle mozzarella cheese, and artistically arrange your toppings.
  6. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Bake the assembled pizza on a baking sheet or pizza stone for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • Leftover pizza can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
