- 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 bell pepper (red, yellow, or green), sliced
- 1 cup zucchini, thinly sliced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475ยฐF (245ยฐC). Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Spread a generous amount of tomato sauce over the rolled-out dough, covering the edges.
- Layer the thinly sliced bell peppers, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, and red onion over the sauce. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously on top of the vegetables. Bake for 12โ15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
- For longer storage, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and aluminum foil and freeze.
