Well Catherine I attempted to make this for our girl's night tonight. Don't know what I did wrong but mine was not a batter consistency it was runny. I made the self rising flour per the instructions. I thought maybe it needed more baking powder so added little more but still runny. I used it anyway.
I think I would probably mix the Oreos with a cherry or strawberry pie filling sounds like it would be a little weird by itself thanks for the recipe though.
Wow!!!’ My mouth is watering! That looks like something I would devour little by little!! I have a box of birthday cake Oreos! I may have to get the regular ones for this recipe!

I made one last night, except I fixed it in a 6 quart slow cooker on high for 2-3 hours and it turned out good

Oh my gosh! Oreos are one of my favorites and I love cobbler, mostly the cake/topping part so this I get the best of both worlds!
