Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 1/3 cups crispy fried onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Blanch green beans in boiling water for 3 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Mix green beans with sauce until well coated.
  5. Transfer to a baking dish and top evenly with 2/3 cup of fried onions.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25 minutes. Remove from oven, sprinkle remaining fried onions, and bake for another 5 minutes until golden.
