Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by marinating your chicken wings. In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix well to ensure that the wings are evenly coated.
- Once the wings have marinated for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator), remove them from the marinade. Sprinkle the lemon pepper seasoning over the wings, adding salt to taste for maximum flavor.
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Place the seasoned wings on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the wings from the oven and drizzle additional lemon pepper sauce on top. Toss to ensure even coating and serve hot!
Notes
- If you have leftover lemon pepper hot wings, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- To reheat, place them in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes to avoid sogginess from microwaving.
- These wings pair well with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
