Stop looking for some magic supplement! And limit the amount of WHOLE fruit as well so as not to ingest too much fructose, as the total amt is still processed by the liver, even if it is on a low glycemic load form moderated by fiber! Stop eating it and after a few months you won't crave it! Problem solved!
It gets so old listening to the newly converted strive to continue doing what they have always done albeit w/ new magic powders & magic supplements. Simply refer to C.Esselstyn's guidelines.
I think ARTIFICIAL sweeteners are the product. Just like aspartame, sucralose has its downsides too (I don't remember the exact science behind it, but it's something about a chlorine atom in the structure). Sticking to sugar alcohols and nature-based sweeteners like stevia is a safer bet.
@snyliram it's because they slowly start to kill your liver. Which is why most Diabetics opt to go for a more natural approach (not sure about dieters). But it kills your liver
agave nectar is one alternative, natural sweetener that works well in cooking. Stevia is another. You can also use alternative flours such as nutrient-dense almond flour instead of processed white flour. There are a lot of ways to make great tasting food that doesn't contain the 'junk' or that can meet various medical dietary restrictions. Many gluten-free recipes use alternatives to sugar, as do some vegetarian. You can eat great food without giving up flavor.

I know the sugar free diabetic chocolates act like a laxative.
