- 2 ½ cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 ¼ teaspoons) of active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of warm water (110°F)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 cup of pizza sauce
- 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup of sliced pepperoni
- ½ cup of sliced bell peppers
- ¼ cup of sliced black olives
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the pizza dough by mixing warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl, letting it froth for 5 minutes.
- Add flour, olive oil, and salt to the yeast mixture to form a dough, then knead for 5 minutes on a floured surface.
- Roll out the dough to your desired thickness to fit your pizza pan.
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Spread pizza sauce over the dough and layer with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, bell peppers, and olives.
- Transfer the pizza to a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
- Garnish with basil, slice, and serve hot!
Notes
- Store leftover pizza in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat slices at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes for a fresh-baked taste.
