Ingredients
Scale
- 4 ripe peaches, peeled and pitted
- 1/2 cup sugar (or honey, as a natural sweetener)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 cup sparkling water or club soda
- 1 bottle of chilled prosecco
- Ice cubes (as needed)
- Optional garnish: fresh peach slices, mint leaves
Instructions
- Start by blending the peeled and pitted peaches with sugar and lemon juice until smooth. Strain the mixture if needed for a smoother texture.
- Pour the peach puree into an ice cube tray and freeze for 4-6 hours until solid.
- In a blender, blend the frozen peach cubes with sparkling water or club soda to create a slushy consistency. Fill tall glasses about two-thirds full.
- Gently top each glass with chilled prosecco, stirring lightly to combine. Garnish with fresh peach slices or mint leaves for decor.
Notes
- Use very ripe peaches for maximum sweetness and flavor.
- Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of your peaches.
- For a less alcoholic version, increase the sparkling water and use flavored sparkling waters.
- Prepare the peach puree in advance and freeze to save time during gatherings.
