Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup Greek yogurt (full-fat or low-fat)
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour or almond flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: dark chocolate chips or nuts for added texture
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, sift the cocoa powder, whole wheat or almond flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add these dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips or nuts if desired.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×9 inch baking pan. Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool before slicing to achieve the best texture.
