Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup crushed nuts (almonds or walnuts)
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients: heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, chocolate chips, fresh strawberries, fresh blueberries, and crushed nuts.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn for about 20-25 minutes, until it transforms into a creamy texture.
- Transfer the churned ice cream into a serving bowl, and top with additional chocolate, fruits, and nuts as desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
- Let the ice cream sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving to make scooping easier.
- For a no-machine version, freeze in a container and stir every 30 minutes until creamy.
- Experiment with different fruits like bananas or add mix-ins like cookie dough for variations.
