- 1 pound fresh or frozen green peas
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (parsley or mint)
Instructions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add peas and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Drain the peas and set aside.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add cooked peas to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and toss to coat evenly.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs.

- Can use fresh or frozen peas interchangeably.
- Adjust seasonings to taste, add lemon zest for extra brightness.
