- Fresh ripe peaches or canned peaches in syrup (drained)
- Black or green tea bags
- Honey or agave syrup (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves
- Ice cubes
- Optional: lemon slices
Instructions
- Wash and peel fresh peaches or drain canned peaches. Slice into small chunks.
- Bring water to a boil and steep tea bags for about 5 minutes. Let cool to room temperature.
- Add peaches and honey or agave syrup to a blender. Blend until smooth and strain if necessary.
- Mix the peach puree with cooled tea in a large pitcher. Add plenty of ice cubes and stir well.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Pour into glasses filled with ice, garnish with mint leaves or lemon slices, and enjoy your homemade peach iced tea.
