Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of warm water (110°F)
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 2 ¼ teaspoons of active dry yeast (1 packet)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by measuring them out, ensuring to use fresh yeast for the best results.
- Load the bread machine by adding warm water first, followed by sugar, salt, flour, and yeast. If using olive oil, add it on top of the flour.
- Select the basic bread cycle on your machine and start it to knead the ingredients into a dough.
- Let the dough rise for approximately 1 hour, until it has doubled in size, and the machine will automatically bake it into a loaf.
Notes
- Store your bread in a sealed plastic bag or airtight container to keep it fresh.
- Homemade bread is best enjoyed within a few days but can be frozen for up to 3 months.
- For easy access, slice the bread before freezing.
