Instructions
- Start by bringing 2 cups of water to a boil in a medium-sized pot.
- Once the water is boiling, add 1 cup of diced chicken breast and cook for 10-15 minutes until fully cooked and tender.
- Add 1 cup of brown rice to the pot, stir well, and lower the heat to medium. Cook for another 20-25 minutes until the rice is tender.
- Drain any excess water and allow the chicken and rice mixture to cool to a safe temperature for your pet.
Notes
- Feed your dog around 1/4 to 1/2 cup of this mixture per 10 pounds of body weight.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
- Mix in some cooked vegetables for an extra health boost.
