- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour custard mixture into the pie crust.
- Sprinkle nutmeg evenly over the filling.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until the custard is set and the top is golden.
- Let cool before serving. Optional: Garnish with whipped cream or fresh berries.

- Be sure not to over-bake to prevent curdling.
- Best served chilled but can be enjoyed warm.
