- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients, stirring until combined. Fold in chopped cherries and chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets, flatten slightly.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden. Let cool.
- Meanwhile, heat heavy cream and cocoa powder in a small saucepan until simmering, then pour over chocolate chips to make ganache. Let sit, then stir until smooth.
- Drizzle ganache over cooled cookies. Serve and enjoy festive holiday baking.
