- 1 tsp baking powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for brushing
- Slider buns
- Favorite toppings (sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, etc.)
Instructions
- Soak dried chickpeas overnight, drain and rinse.
- In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, tahini, and spices; process until finely ground.
- Shape the mixture into 2-inch patties and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Brush patties with olive oil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Prepare slider buns with tahini or hummus; layer in baked patties and toppings.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
