Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: paprika, garlic powder, or other spices to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the sweet potatoes by peeling and cutting them into fry shapes, approximately 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and optional spices.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are tender on the inside and crispy on the outside.
- Remove from air fryer, season with extra salt or spices if desired, and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Don’t overcrowd the fryer basket to achieve even cooking.
- For extra crispiness, soak fries in cold water for 30 minutes before seasoning.
- Shake the basket halfway through cooking to promote even crispiness.
- Use olive oil or alternatives like avocado oil for frying.
- Adjust timing based on your air fryer’s performance for optimal results.
