This recipe combines simplicity with irresistible flavor in just half an hour, making it an ideal family dinner or entertaining option.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 12 oz (340g) pasta (penne or fettuccine works well)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream or full-fat milk
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter or heat olive oil. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. Pour in heavy cream and stir. Add Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Cook for 3-5 minutes until sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss until well coated. Mix in extra Parmesan or pasta water if desired for added creaminess.

Notes

  • For added flavor, sprinkle red pepper flakes or splash white wine into the sauce.
  • Reheat leftovers gently in a skillet or microwave, adding a splash of milk or water to restore creaminess.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley for a fresh, vibrant finish.
