- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara
- 1/2 cup cooked sausage or pepperoni (optional)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasonings
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut into individual squares.
- Spread a spoonful of marinara on each square, add cheese and optional toppings.
- Fold the dough over to enclose the fillings and pinch edges to seal.
- Place the calzones in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Garnish with fresh basil and serve with extra marinara.
