- 5–6 Chinese sausages (Lap Cheong)
- 2 cups of mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, and snow peas)
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Soy sauce and sesame oil for seasoning
- Cooked rice for serving
Instructions
- Start by slicing the Chinese sausages into thin pieces for even cooking.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until browned.
- Add the mixed vegetables, and stir-fry for another 5-7 minutes until they’re just tender.
- Once the vegetables are cooked, add minced garlic and ginger, stirring for about a minute until fragrant.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve your stir-fried Chinese sausage over cooked rice.
Notes
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- For a flavor boost, serve with pickled vegetables or a light cucumber salad.
- You can substitute with other sausages if desired, noting it may change the flavor.
