Instructions

  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, mixing well.

  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
  6. Stir in oats, chocolate chips, and nuts if using.
  7. Drop spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
