Great video you showed well! I also love you add snacks. I have a little one and some middle school kids-we need some easy granola snacks, and small treats. Not only for my sanity but we also need to enjoy life.
What a perfect video to show us how to do it. It's sad that 25k views isn't enough to make more of these type of videos but I understand your a business and need to make videos that will make it worth your time. You would think these type of videos would get more views but sadly they do not. Thank you for all your hard work and amazing content you provide. It is so appreciated. May God Bless you and your family.
Well, for the fun of it, I used the prices available online at Walmart (NS, Canada) and tried to price the same items Tawra shows. Converting from imperial to metric isn't exact, but it is close enough. The only thing I could not find was canned green chillies for the soup…so I just added $2.00 to the total. (find a substitute) For Canada, my total was $177.71 CAD allowing for 78c currency conversion, it would make it $139.16 USD Like Tawra said, she could have gotten items cheaper at other stores, and so could have I. By using my stockpile, I could easily feed a family of 4 for $100 a week. (I think even less) Still loved this video !!
New to your channel. I'd watch 100 more videos just like this… So I hope you make more of them ☺️. So easy to follow. Definitely looking into getting you cookbook ❤️
I love this video! I'm all up for new ideas. I am guilty of shopping once a month if I can get away with it. If I stay out of the store then I don't buy as much. LOL
P.S. I made the spaghetti sauce in your Dining on a Dime Vol 1 last night and it was delicious. I even put up 1 pint and 1 quart of extra sauce once we were done with dinner/prepping leftovers. I plan on freezing those so that may cut us from having to use store bought or make more fresh for an easy meal.
Wow! Thank you for the tip on chicken leg quarters… they are even more affordable at my Walmart 69 cents per lb at 6.92 for 10 lbs! The funny thing is we typically eat thighs or legs…
My grocery store is cheaper than Walmart except on laundry soap. Went yesterday and bill was $122, but several items will last over a month. On vine tomatoes were on sale for $.88 lb, I got the meal deal 2 bags chicken nuggets and you get Mac & cheese 2 litters bottle big red bag of salad mix Mexican shredded cheese and a pint of ice cream free. Got my carb free wraps with Because this means a lot to me personally. I'm going to make a bet, that out of my family and friends, less than 4 will take the time to put this on their wall to help raise awareness of mental health difficulties. 🖤who are my four🖤 bag of pig skins (my husband loves as a snack). Final bill was $87.90.
When you say "servings" and then say there's enough to feed x amount of people for x amount of days are you saying that everyone eats the exact same serving sizes in your family? Everyone's caloric needs are different depending on our age/size/activity levels. No one in my family eats the same amount of calories. Supplementing with extra snacks and stuff, I'm wondering if it would be less expensive to feed more at meals and less $$ on snacks?? Great meal ideas!! I just bought a big bag of the leg quarters and am kicking myself because I separated and froze them all to cook as we go….cooking them all at once…ugh…shoulda, coulda, woulda. I have to switch my thinking to bulk cooking instead of daily cooking as I do now.
Such a helpful video…thank you!!I loved how you broke it down and showed us what you were making with your groceries and included the serving sizes. Please do more of these videos!!!

I could eat that whole roasted pork loin in one sitting. I love it. My favorite meat when it's cooked right. Seasoned 450° for 45 minutes. Yum yum yum

Every thing looks yummy! Such good planning ahead your menu and no waste.
Great deals, thanks; I need to shop Walmart more. Your menu looks very healthy also.

Your hair looks really pretty. Your natural color is beautiful.
