- 2 beef patties (about 4 oz each)
- 2 slices of American cheese
- 1 large sesame seed bun
- Leafy lettuce
- Fresh sliced tomatoes
- Sliced onions
- Pickles
- Mayonnaise
- Ketchup
- Mustard
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season your beef patties with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4 minutes on one side until browned.
- Flip the patties, and cook for another 3 minutes. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
- Toast the sesame seed bun lightly on the grill or pan.
- Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of the bun.
- Add the lettuce, followed by the first beef patty with melted cheese.
- Layer on sliced tomatoes, followed by the second beef patty with cheese.
- Add sliced onions and pickles.
- Top it off with ketchup and mustard according to your preference.
- Finally, cover with the top half of the bun.
