I'm not sure how many people today realize that Elvis was stationed on Ft. Hood in Killeen Texas where I lived. He was stationed there for about a year or so and lived in a house in Killeen that is still there today close too base, he had a brick wall in the back of the house so it was said he would climb over the wall to avoid detection when he got off work. I'm not sure if Killeen had made that house an historical land mark or not but it's still there.

It's funny to think the character Angela Lansbury is playing can talk about her grandfather as a civil war veteran. It's interesting how close some things are.
