- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
- ¼ cup ice water
- Natural sausage casings (for stuffing)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and optional cayenne pepper. Mix well and gradually add ice water to bind.
- Rinse casings in cold water and soak for 30 minutes. Stuff casings with the beef mixture and twist into links, ensuring not to overstuff.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat, add oil, and cook sausage links for 5-7 minutes until browned. Cover and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes.
- Serve with fresh herbs, mustard, and your favorite grilled vegetables.
Notes
- Store leftover sausage links in airtight containers in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
- Reheat before serving in a skillet or microwave.
