Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 cup water or beef broth
- Sausage casings (optional)
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients for the beef sausage links, ensuring high-quality beef is used.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, thyme, and water or beef broth. Mix thoroughly.
- If using casings, slide them onto a sausage stuffer and fill them with the meat mixture, twisting at intervals to create links. Alternatively, shape the mixture into patties or links.
- Heat a frying pan over medium heat, add oil, and cook the beef sausage links for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown and fully cooked. Ensure internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
Notes
- Store leftover sausages in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Cooked sausages can be frozen for up to 3 months; reheat thoroughly before serving.
- Serve in sandwiches, with roasted vegetables, or sliced in pasta dishes for added flavor.
