Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix warm water with sugar and yeast, letting it sit for 10 minutes until frothy.
- Combine flour and salt in another bowl, then add the yeast mixture and olive oil.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth (about 5-7 minutes), then let it rise in a greased bowl for 1 hour.
- While the dough rises, heat tomato sauce in a pot over medium heat for 5 minutes, adding herbs for flavor.
- Preheat the oven to 475ยฐF (245ยฐC). Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface.
- Spread the sauce on the dough, add mozzarella cheese and desired toppings.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.

- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Freeze individual slices for up to 2 months, reheat in the oven for best results.
