Instructions
- In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a boil. Add orzo and cook until tender.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, lemon juice, and lemon zest together.
- Temper the egg mixture by gradually adding hot broth, then return to the pot.
- Add shredded chicken and fresh dill, simmer for 5 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper, serve hot garnished with extra dill if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine or a squeeze of fresh lemon before serving.
- Use rotisserie chicken for quick preparation.
