- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream and whole milk. Whisk together until fully blended.
- Add the granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir well to dissolve all the sugar.
- Transfer the mixture into an ice cream maker. Churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until thickened.
- Transfer the churned mixture into a lidded container and freeze for at least 4 hours. Scoop and serve with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the freezer; best enjoyed within the first week.
- Can make different flavor variations by adding chocolate, fruit purees, or crushed cookies.
- No ice cream maker? Pour into a container and stir every 30 minutes until frozen.
