Instructions
- Make the dough by mixing warm water with sugar and yeast, letting it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a bowl, combine flour and salt, then mix in the yeast mixture and olive oil until smooth.
- While the dough rises, chop fresh toppings like bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms.
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Once the dough has doubled (about 1 hour), roll it out, spread marinara sauce, sprinkle mozzarella, and add toppings.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
