We have a bucket that is only used to make sand pudding!! We make it once a year when we go up to Wisconsin to my parents lake house! I love ocean water from sonic with extra coconut! Have you ever made a koolaid pie before? You take lemon lime koolaid packet mix it with can of sweetened condensed milk and then fold in container of cool whip! Spoon it into a graham cracker crust and chill so good! You can use any kind of koolaid packet you want!
The drink and the banana pudding beach bucket. I have nieces and nephews that will love both. I am trying to come up with ideas for snackle boxes for them when they travel this summer.
When we don't have equivalent ingredients here in the UK to make 3/5 of these recipes. We don't have 'nilla wafers' , 'jello pudding', or 'cool whip, but I could substitute certain biscuits (cookies) that we have to create the sand (thinking something called a 'custard cream' may work, alternatively a 'nice' biscuit since it's got coconut in there), we have an 'instant dessert' brand called 'angel delight' which seems similar to 'jello pudding' though we don't have a vanilla flavour, but butterscotch or banana could maybe work. I'm thinking that fresh whipping cream could work instead of 'cool whip'. We don't have 'Swedish fish' either but we do have some fish shaped confectionary which could work instead for the float, though coconut extract may be hard to find.
I'm furious that I can't try the lime pie as our main jelly (our word for 'jello', we call what the US calls 'jelly', jam) brand over here 'Hartley's' don't sell the lime flavour in a powered format, its only available in a concentrated 'cubes' format, which essentially looks like a jelly/ jello chocolate bar that you dilute in boiling water and let set. They only sell the powdered format (which is their sugar free variety) in strawberry, blackcurrant (think "Ribena' flavour, its my favourite flavour), orange or raspberry so I'd have to change the flavour.
Hi Jennifer itโs kind of weird seeing Jennifer because my name is also Jennifer๐ oh so I commented on that one video if you were going to do subscriber lunches and I just want to know if youโre going to do that this summer my idea is Jennifer taheny from Illinois
