Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot, add a pinch of salt, and cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add diced onion and minced garlic, cook until fragrant. Add the ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- In the same skillet, pour in the beef broth and heavy cream. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer. Add shredded cheddar cheese and remaining butter, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Mix the cooked noodles into the creamy beef sauce, ensuring theyβre coated evenly. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve hot and enjoy this hearty, comforting dish!
Notes
- Allow leftovers to cool completely, then transfer to an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, microwave or warm on the stovetop, adding a splash of beef broth or cream as needed to restore creaminess.
- For added flavor, sprinkle extra cheese or chopped herbs on top before serving.
