Instructions
- Start by cleaning and patting dry your seafood. In a skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant. Toss in the seafood and cook for about 3-4 minutes until just opaque. Season with salt and pepper, then remove from heat.
- In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Pour in heavy cream and stir continuously until it starts to simmer. Gradually add the shredded cheese, stirring constantly until the mixture is smooth and cheesy. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking dish, combine the cooked seafood mixture with the cheesy sauce. Sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over the top for a crispy crust. Finish with a generous sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley for color and freshness.
- Bake the gratin in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the top is golden brown and bubbly. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving to enhance flavors.
